About Griffith Energy

From its humble beginnings in 1922 in western New York, Griffith Energy has grown to the point that it now employs over 500 people at 22 field office locations, providing energy products, customer service, and heating equipment sales and service. Our home, farm and small business fuel delivery is supported via a network of bulk fuel storage plants with over 1.7 million gallons of liquid product storage and 1 million gallons of propane storage, and a delivery fleet of approximately 475 modern tank-wagons, propane bobtail and other trucks.

The company handles all purchasing of refined petroleum products and manages delivery to the over 18 million gallon storage tanks at Griffith Energy owned terminals (very large petroleum storage facilities) and those operated by others.  Further, Griffith Energy is backed by an owned propane terminal with over 340,000 gallons of storage. While our over 100,000 residential and small business customers are the backbone of our company, we also handle fuels supply for the largest of petroleum product users and over 150 gas stations in the state. The company also provides its own facilities design, environmental engineering and monitoring, and fleet and facilities maintenance. In addition, Griffith operates its own management information and accounting services. By controlling all these functions Griffith Energy is a leader in being able to respond to customer needs.

Griffith News
Spring 2010 - Friday, April 23, 2010

Spring is the best time to think of taking action on two fronts:
1)    Your heating unit has been working hard all winter but now, before it sits all summer with combustion byproducts from the months gone by, have it cleaned and tuned.
2)    The budget payment program starts in June. By taking annual heating costs and spreading them out over the year you avoid those large mid-winter bills and are better able to budget your monthly expenses.
To investigate whether a clean and tune or budget payment plan is right for you give us a call!
